Women Only New York Drives Program
Career Training that includes Security Certification
 
New York Drives is proud to announce that final cycle of the year will be a women-only cycle geared towards participants who are looking to enter into the security field. This program will incorporate the 8 hr and 16 hr security certification, as well as time spent on the road helping to obtain a driver’s license.  This program will give the career development skills to enter into the security field, and the tools necessary to advance in the industry. This program will be offered free of cost. 
 
To apply, please refer your applicants to an information session. We’ve added 1 FINAL session on Tuesday, November 8th at 2pm at our offices located 621 Degraw St, Brooklyn, NY 11217.Requirements for the program include: 
18+
Food Stamp Recipient 
HSD or GED
Female
Be able to pass a background check and a drug test
Criminal Justice applicants - must possess a certificate of good conduct or relief
 Must NOT have a driver’s license or security license
